Lets talk about DVF

I love the fact that this house has been brought back into the spotlight with the release of their Fall 2017 Ready-to-wear collection that I must say has been one of the best ready-to-wear collections I have seen this Fashion Week. There was something so fresh and unique with the patterns and materials used that it reminded me why I love this house so much. With all that said, this brand also has a very rich past with the introduction of the wrap dress in 1974. This was no doubt the turning point for the brand and just like Louboutin has the red sole, DVF has the wrap dress.

This is an item that has to be mentioned when talking about DVF and rightly so! I have not had the pleasure of owning one yet but hopefully I will in the future own multiple versions of this dress. It is such a versatile piece and is without a doubt a staple in any wardrobe. This is a dress that you can experience life with as your trusty right hand woman, there with you every step of the way. In my opinion that is what fashion is about, living life with your clothes as not only your armour but your memories. That is why I resonate so strongly with brands such as DVF, their values and thoughts about fashion line up with mine and it makes this brand very dear to my heart.

As I mentioned above, the key fact is the versatility that these dresses have. They can be worn for countless events and occasions that I think I would be typing all day If I had to list them out! The price of the dresses is another key factor of why I love this brand so much, while I absolutely adore Valentino, they can be pricey while buying a DVF dress might only set you back €400. I am at this point only looking for a reason to purchase one! If you click on the images I have put into this blog it will bring you straight to a site where you can purchase these gorgeous, timeless pieces so please enjoy browsing through the beautiful options and lusting after everything that is DVF.

I would love to know in the comments down below about a brand that is near and dear to your heart and also your opinion on the infamous wrap dress.
